Esperanto Music Database

Welcome to the Esperanto Music Database!

This website aims to list every release of Esperanto music.

Every album or single that includes music with lyrics partly or entirely in Esperanto is in scope, regardless of whether it is released on physical media or digitally. Non-music releases on physical media found during my research are also included, but no attempt is made to produce a complete list of those releases.

So far, the database contains information about 697 releases. More detailed statistics are also available.

Sources

The main sources used in the database are:

• Laŭjara katalogo de muzikaj diskoj en Esperanto
• The online catalogues of Vinilkosmo, UEA and the FEL-Retbutiko
• Rok-Gazet'
• Vinilkosmo's paper catalogues from 1995, 1997, 1998 and 2003
• Discogs
• KantarViki
• The Esperanto Wikipedia's list of Esperanto music albums
• The editor's own collection

By combining all of these sources, with additional sources for individual releases where necessary, the objective is to produce the most complete and detailed list of Esperanto music.
